Four Months in Spain: Inspiration, Culture, and Creativity

Four Months in Spain: Inspiration, Culture, and Creativity

Spending the last four months in Spain with my husband has been an experience I’ll carry with me forever. Every day felt like a gift, whether we were hiking through breathtaking mountains, biking along the beach, or simply pedaling through charming neighborhoods, discovering something new around each corner.

What touched me most was the people. Everywhere we went, we were met with warmth, generosity, and kindness. Strangers became friends, always ready to help, share a smile, or offer advice. And yes, there is a lot of smoking here! I sometimes found myself wishing they could smoke less, simply so they could enjoy life longer, because their spirit and zest for life is so beautiful.

And then there’s the food and wine—oh my! Fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. From the crisp local vegetables to the incredible wines, every meal was a reminder of how good food can make you feel. I especially loved how light and nourishing everything felt, no heaviness, no bloating, just pure enjoyment.

Spain has been a constant source of inspiration. The colors, the textures, the sunsets, the way the light hits the sea and the mountains… everywhere I turned, I felt my creativity being recharged. Many people complimented my jewelry while I was here, which made me so happy and reminded me why I do what I do. Sitting in cafés, watching the world go by, I found the space to dream about my next collection and what stories it will tell.

These four months were more than just a trip, they were a pause, a chance to breathe, connect with friends, observe, and soak in beauty. I return with a heart full of gratitude, a mind buzzing with ideas, and a deeper connection to the soulful, nature-inspired jewelry I create.

Thank you Spain, we'll see you soon!

Love,

Gaby.
